Arts Impact’s mission is to provide high-quality arts integrated learning for students in low-income communities. Our core programs contract local teaching artists to provide rigorous professional learning and classroom mentorships for PreK-8th grade educators. We are currently seeking visual arts, dance, theater, and multimedia teaching artists strongly grounded in their art discipline with a minimum of two years teaching. Participation in the Arts Connect workshop is a chance to build the skills needed to join our roster of Artist Mentors and bolster your toolkit for teaching in and through the arts!
Up to 10 participants from the Arts Connect workshop will be invited for an additional arts integration intensive with the goal of inviting up to 6 teaching artists to join our roster for the school year. New Artist Mentors will receive additional coaching and paid training opportunities to shadow experienced Artist Mentors, building capacity for independent paid contracts. For more information, contact info@arts-impact.org.
*Arts Connect is fully funded by 4Culture!
**We also recommend ArtsWA’s Teaching Artist Training Lab (TAT Lab) for teaching artists! Arts Connect has been developed in collaboration with TAT Lab as a complimentary resource for deeper learning in arts integration.
