Nominations for the 5th Annual Arts Impact GRIT Award will be accepted until March 7th, 2025.

All young people have dreams. Making that dream come true, one step at a time, requires perseverance. There will be tough times, uncertainty, and failures along the way — learning how to overcome them and recognizing challenges for the valuable lessons they are —prepares a student to achieve their fullest potential. The arts are a powerful way to teach grit. This award honors a student who has shown perseverance to overcome challenges with creativity and artistic expression.

Art teachers may nominate a student who exemplifies perseverance and growth mindset through their approach to their art. Please enter nomination below (250 word limit).
Award: $150 Amazon gift card plus certificate
** Note: This award is for students attending school in Pierce County, King County and Bainbridge Island, and all nominees must be registered with the PSESD Regional Art Show.
